An evil force travels across the Universe, space and times are witnesses of its destructive powers, but the Magic Cube is missing for over thousand years.

The wicked Septimus and his helper Tristan were left in a deserted island, struggling to survive. Among the gems and jewels of Septimus' precious treasure, he finds a wonderful lamp. It looks old and rusty, so Septimus throws it to the sea and then, a soaked genie emerges from the lamp in the water. Because of this, the genie is in a mood, so he cuts down to one the number of wishes that he is going to grand to Septimus. Septimus feels nervous and can't think of any wish at that moment, thus he gets a gift from the genie. The present is extraordinary and dangerous at the same time, it is the Magic Cube.

In Dragon Hill life goes easy, as usual: Maud keeps trying to bring technology to the Hill. Gala wants her husband Ken gives her a hand with the housework.Ethelbert spoils himself with constant meditation and hopes to beat Maud in a chess game someday. Also, the young Kevin and Elfy find the "Cosmic Ray", which after the crash was broken down, now they want to mend it...

No one at the Dragon Hill is aware that Septimus and Tristan are about to break their calm and tranquillity with the gift the genie gave them, not even themselves.

Then, something unusual happens in Dragon Hill and Ethelbert as guardian of the Hill, calls the counsel for an urgent meeting. The Magic Cube has come back by Septimus, who ignores its power. He doesn't know that the Cube's powers are terrible and uncontrollable.

Although Ethelberg uses his powers to neutralize the Magic Cube, the situation is out of his control already. Thus, Dragon Hill suffers the consequences of the Cube's destructive force and its powers take possession of Tristan, who becomes a monster. By his strength,Tristan the monster provokes an earthquake and so, there is a big fight between him and the guardian Ethelbert.

Kevin and Elfy rush to help the guardian, flying in the "Cosmic Ray". Also, the assistance and participation of the whole community is necessary and essential to defeat the evil spell. Once the Magic Cube has been vanquished and neutralised, life at Dragon Hill goes back to normality. Septimus and Tristan have returned this time, to stay for ever. But the closer they are, the better, so the guardian Ethelbert can keep an eye on them.
