M5 Audiovisual and Milimetros feature animation close several selling deals in Berlin's EFM.
During the European Film Market held in Berlin, M5/ Milimetros Feature Animation have closed several
distribution deals for both Dragon Hill and The Magic Cube in Slovenia, Croatia
and Bosnia with Media Films Distributions, in Serbia with MCF Megacom Films, in
India with Ashor Productions, in the Middle East with Mip Media and with More
Film for its home-video distribution in Germany. Moreover, distributors in Portugal,
Italy, Turkey, China, Egypt, USA, Scandinavia, Czech Republic and Sweden have
also shown an interest in the films.
Regarding their last Project, RH+, distributors have received it with great expectancy and have shown great interest; selling deals with these distributors will be arranged during meetings held in this year's MIPTV. All countries purchasing the rights of the last projects claimed to be also interested in acquiring RH+'s too. Apart from the already mentioned, countries such as France, USA and UK (among others) have expressed their interest in RH+.
This year's Cartoon Forum in Postdam will be the next step for RH+, a new opportunity for distributors to discover a hilarious and different film.
On the subject of their last project, currently under production, "THE ADVENTURES AND MISADVENTURES OF DON QUIXOTE", distributors have just received a 1 minute pilot, which has been an immediate success. In many cases they have expressed their desire of pre-purchasing the rights of the feature film and the TV series.
Regarding co-productions, M5/MILIMETROS several meetings with Argentinean, Italian and Spanish producers have been held with excellent results. Co-production deals for several projects, one of them included in RAICES, are expected to be closed in due time.
