Antonio Zurera Aragon was appointed beloved son of “Aguilar de la Frontera”
yesterday in a ceremony celebrated in the townhall of the city. The ceremony had the appearing of varied
authorities, friends and people related with animation and audio-visual production world.
The examining magistrate of the expedient, Antonio Maestre, had read at first, the report elaborated during the last year and the numerous support that this proposal had received, both assotiations and companies related with the audio-visual animation, and people in a private capacity.
Later the Cordoba Provincial Council President, Francisco Pulido , and the Mayor of Aguilar, Francisco Panigua, took part and emphasize the professional career path and it repercussion in Aguilar and Cordoba, cities where since two years ago have been used for celebrating the international animation festival, Animacor. After the presentation of the picture with a scroll remembering the act, Antonio Zurera was grateful with the appointment and said, touched, that in spite of having been living in another cities like Madrid, Barcelona or Paris, his heart had always been in his home town, Aguilar
The initiative of this appointment starts from feature writer of Aguilar, Diego Igeño. In February of 2006 starts the proceedings of the expedient that the last first of march was ratificated by the Corporation in plenary session.
