Director Antonio Zurera Aragon will be a member of the International Jury for International Animation Festival ANIMABASAURI.
The third edition of ANIMABASAURI will be held from 23-29 March in Bilbao.
This festival has an official section with feature animation films and shorts films in 35 mm and another one
with shorts films in DVD, included different parallel sections such as retrospectives, exhibitions, activities
for childrens, workshops, etc.
This festival is sponsored by "Ayuntamiento de Basauri", with the collaboration of "Cultura del Gobierno Vasco", "Diputación Foral de Buizkaia", BBK, and the support of different private and public entities.
Antonio Zurera has been appointed as International Jury member for the Feature Animation Films along with others proffesionals in the sector such as: Nik Phelps, composer and singer; Bill Plympton, director and animator; Borja Crespo, director and journalist; Ernesto Murillo (Simonides), comic drawer, and Telmo Esnal, director of "Aupa Etxebeste".
All of them will have the responsibility to award the "Prize of Jury for the Best Feature Film" in the Official Section, provided with 6000 euros sponsored by BBK, "Basauri Saria" and "Toon Boom" awards.
